Ship Schah Jehan, 757 tons, Captain James A. Cox, from Plymouth 24th August 1860, arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia 1st December 1860. — 3rd ship from England to S.A. with government passengers for 1860 ; —6— births and —2— deaths on the passage ; William Rutter, surgeon-superintendent. This vessel, the last one chartered for the conveyance of emigrants from Plymouth to Adelaide, made her appearance at an early hour on Saturday morning, the 1st instant. She sailed from Plymouth on the 24th August, having previously embarked 318 souls. Nothing has transpired during the voyage of any particular importance. From the time of sailing from Plymouth down to her arrival, only one vessel was spoken, -October 16, in latitude 31 ° 9' S., I longitude 14° 49' E., the British ship Lady MacDonnell [Lady Macdonald], from London, bound to Sydney.
