Arthur Francis Bunney, building contractor, residing at 239 Boughtman Street; South: Broken Hill, said that about 6 p.m. on January 9 he was at the Alma Sporting Club. He was leaving the club and in the passage- way he saw Plummer, who was drunk. He caught Plummer by the arm and took him to his (witness') car to drive him home. When he got to Plummer's residence he turned the car in front of the house. Plummer was sitting in the front seat of the car and when witness stopped Plummer opened the door and put his hand on the front of the car and slipped and fell. When he went around to the other side of the car Plummer was lying face down. With a Mr. Anspach he assisted Plummer to his feet and took him inside the house and put him on a bed. When they picked him up he had a cut over the right eye. To the Coroner: I was of the opinion that he was more under the influence of liquor than hurt. ***
