John ERREY:
Notes:
John Errey ran a blacksmith & farrier business in Lewisham, Kent.
3 children died in infancy. John, George, Edward and Alfred emigrated to Australia (see details in their records). Jemima married but died young with no children,
Elizabeth married into a wealthy family based on a large foundry business. Her children Eva, May and Blanche lived in comfort with their husbands and children on the proceeds.
Susannah lived with her sister Elizabeth's family until the parents died in the 1890s. She then lived with May, the last unmarried daughter, until May's marriage in 1901. Susannah lived with her unmarried brothers Richard and Robert from about 1901.
Richard and Robert worked in their father's business until his death in 1882. They then apparently sold the business and retired, living at Bexley, Hastings (near Susannah), New Milton Hants and Chobham Surrey. Richard died in 1907 and Susannah and Robert in 1932.
